Disaster Alert is a free mobile app delivering critical hazard alerts globally. Built on PDC’s DisasterAWARE, it offers near real-time updates on 18 natural hazard types. Customize early warnings, view impact reports, and access visualized data. Information streams continuously from reliable, verified sources. PDC manually updates alerts when official sources aren't available, minimizing delays. Active hazards include hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanoes, floods, wildfires, U.S. tornados, and winter storms, processed automatically. Marine hazards, storms, droughts, and manmade incidents are processed manually. Version 7.5.4 features a default PDC theme, multi-language login, and a first-time user setup for customizing alert locations and hazard severity. Users can register or skip to guest access.
