The app is great but all of the sudden I am cut off from reading any articles because we now have to subscribe?!?! There are a lot of ads to slog through so why charge us ? I love this app great resource for news. Now they’re charging you for everything so I rather just watch it on tv or download another news source. I guess the rich always trying to stay rich. It is absolutely obscene that a multi billion dollar organization is charging for a subscription for their news and mainly opinion. Understanding that Warner Brothers profitability as of March 2025 for the prior 12 months was over $16 billion. Granted, CNN has had a sharp decline in viewership in profitability is not what it once was, however, CNN profitability is greatly reduced. However they are still profitable. It is truly sad that their loss of innovation has resulted in placing the burden on their supporters and viewership. Unfortunately, CNN has lost its way becoming more opinion and fluff than news. They lost their innovation that made them into a trusted news leader.
