Tried the app recently and I am very pleased to notice all the small tweaks and iterations that went through the app. Such a pleasure to use, going for my weekly streak this time! I’ve always struggled a bit with my English, especially my pronunciation. I can tell when people don’t fully understand me because of my accent. I learned English from a non-native teacher, so while I know the grammar and have a decent vocabulary, we didn’t really focus on speaking accurately. Every country also shapes sounds differently, which makes it even trickier. I’m on my third day of the trial, and I have to say, this app is really helpful! I love that it’s interactive and shows you the tongue placement, so you can actually see and practice how to pronounce things correctly. I’ve already noticed mistakes I never realized I was making before (and honestly, only a couple of people ever pointed them out in the past ten years living in the USA). I’ll definitely keep using it after the trial. It’s such a great tool, but like anything, it really depends on how determined and consistent you are. Rushing through just to get a checkmark or star won’t take you very far. Knowledge and skill come only with real practice. Good luck with your studies, everyone!
