I like this app, (along with finch and focus friend) but I really wish there was a widget!! It would be so helpful and very cute! Please Make A Widget!! I like this app, (along with finch and focus friend) but I really wish there was a widget!! It would be so helpful and very cute!
I’ve been seeing these adds all over my Instagram, to where it got ANNOYING. Just recently I started working out and keeping track of what I eat. Having had an eating disorder in the past, and as someone now recovered, I have always refused to track calories. I don’t own a scale. So far, the app seems healthy, doesn’t pressure the user, and utilizes regular dialogue that is seemingly without bias. I expected myself to be (excuse the therapy speak, but for lack of a better word, “triggered” by the process this app uses. However, so far it has been objective. When I scan labels the raccoon says “yummy!” or “what a good snack!” and then gives me the actual facts once I scroll down 😂 I plan to leave another review later depending on how this goes. But so far it seems warm, encouraging, and neutral to body image. It focuses on YOUR goals from what I’ve seen on day one. I’m enjoying it for now and I’m excited to see how my first three days go! I’ve never used an app like this that was so friendly and gentle. For people who are recovering/recovered from EDs, it is really hard to get back into fitness without relapsing. At first glance, this app seems healthy. Funny how it started because I was annoyed at the level of Insta adds, lol. My only complaint is the in-app purchase, but even so, I’ve seen worse. Love the app but how come there are no widgets? Widget? Love the app but how come there are no widgets?
Already down 10 lbs! I’ve always struggled with weight loss, and tracking calories used to feel impossible. BitePal makes it so much easier — and I love that it helps me stay on top of my nutrition too! It even gives you advice on how many calories you need to meet your weight loss goals. The only thing I’ve noticed is that the calorie count isn’t always spot-on, so I just double-check when I can.” Very resourceful Already down 10 lbs!
