This app is amazing. As soon as you open the app you are greeted with a meaningful bible verse! They even go through different books to teach lessons and best of all, it’s not money gouging. It doesn’t show any upgrade to “obtain God’s blessing” which I have seen before. Instead, it’s designed to be a daily devotional to all who are needing it when they don’t have a bible on hand. I hate to say that I don’t have time to read, but I am limited in spare time. The convenience of this app brings the Bible to me at any time of day or night, and I have read more scripture in the last year than I have in my 30 years of life. The music is wonderful. I like that you can set a timer on it to have it greet you any time of day with a daily verse, and that it gives you timely passages to read (for example, it’ll give you relevant passages at Easter and Christmas and such). I also like that I can sync it to my Mac and have it pinned in a widget, so I have the daily verse right on my desktop. An added bonus is I use this Mac for work, attached to a display for students to see, and they often glimpse the Bible widget… which is good because these college kids need Jesus. I’m very thankful for this app. The daily devotionals help me stay connected to our Lord and savior. The background music and the explanations of each verse helps me understand the word more deeply as I’m trying to learn more about the word and get closer to God.
