I was so happy to help the user, he needed help reading the Sodium content of his 3 dinner boxes for the rest of the week. I helped and made sure he was under his daily limit and always veryyyyyyy glad I did. I never felt so good in my life. The user then ask if he can repay the favor by parting for anything I had in mind. I told him and mannnn I cried like a baby. Theses beautiful souls need us and kind people like us the volunteers make their day. Love this app and would love to know how else I can contribute. Hey I’ve found this app couple years back when I started losing my eye sight due to a unknown sickness that my doctors still don’t know the cause of, anyways I downloaded this app in help that incase I needed help I’d be able to get it at a moments notice quick as a phone call, during the time I still had my sight I was able to help a lot of folks with their day to day stuff like finding the other side of a shoe or explaining how a layout of their new home was just for a second opinion, you can’t always trust your people near you but a stranger will either tell you a bold face lie or unconditionally tell you the truth. I loved being able to help folks thru this app it was so easy. Just a phone call and I was able to answer and help anyone. At my lowest moments for some reason, this app rings with someone who needs help. And selfishly, it is good for me. As a disabled person myself, I’m so glad I can help someone with an every day task or something else they need a hand for. Sometimes also I think people are lonely and just want to feel someone is there for them. I get that too and am happy to do it. If I could add something to the app, it would be a chat box that can speak to the blind person, and a way to keep in touch (safely). A gentleman had to email me a video to follow up so that I could complete the task, and it was difficult to tell him how to contact me.
