I have enjoyed bbc for years as a fairly even and balanced news source. No worries there. The mild problem is links in the articles that are in the text often lead me to dead ends and error messages. As if the article that is being referenced is no longer available. I have really enjoyed Sounds since it was introduced, which was not that long ago. I5 seems the norm these days that there is change for change sake, without much thought about the user I hope the new version matches the old.. What a shot in the foot for BBC specifically and British reputation generally to cut off broadcasting live to us in America and around the world. Why we can’t pay a subscription to listen overseas to the BBC radio programs we love I don’t understand. To support the BBC would be a pleasure, not a chore. I signed up 1-2 years ago because this BBC app seemed to have a more moderate style of writing with a wide variety of top news items. Now it’s all about wars and Trump with a more liberal bend. I do not see any way to personalize “Top Stories”. The other sections you can navigate rarely have items that seem important or interesting to me. Good quality but more violent and liberal news than before I signed up 1-2 years ago because this BBC app seemed to have a more moderate style of writing with a wide variety of top news items.
