Okay, so I downloaded this at 2am when the baby was crying and I was searching for anything to make my life easier. Seriously, the amount of spam call...
It is insane that calls known to be spam or fraud are allowed in anyway. But definitely works and blocks them doesn’t even show as a missed call. The older version of this app had an option to send calls, that were not in your contacts, directly to voicemail. The response from the developer suggests that a user turn on silence unknown callers which is an option under settings\phone. This option only prevents the phone from ringing as well as allowing the caller to leave a voicemail. What they fail to consider is the connected Bluetooth items such as Bluetooth watches and Bluetooth features in modern vehicles. Those connected Bluetooth items still alert the users of incoming calls. It is the alerting of the calls that users prefer not to get. So just preventing the phone from ringing isn’t the only issue. Preventing the alert of an incoming call is the issue. What I’m asking the developers to do is please bring back the feature to sent callers, that are not listed in our contacts, directly to voicemail. Simply preventing the phone from ringing is not adequate. With this feature enabled, users would only receive an alert if the caller did actually leave a voicemail. It would be awesome if the developers would actually read what users are trying to convey to them. Instead, they just hit the auto response button. If it isn’t too much trouble, please read the complaint, if you do, you’ll see that trouble shooting is not required.
