The Amtrak app functions smoothly and provides many services. It could be improved with options to print tickets and share trip details with ( trusted) others, as many airlines do. Loss of mobile device could torpedo a vacation or business trip. Still needs improvement when it comes to planning longer trips, and figuring out where I can actually go. Also, for some reason, selecting trip protection removes the ability to use Apple Pay for the purchase. Idk why that would be.
