For the past six months, I have been fully dedicated to this work, traveling from state to state and doing my best to deliver exceptional service. Unfortunately, the reduction in available work has created a strain that's difficult to ignore. As independent drivers, we are the foundation that keeps the Amazon Flex service running smoothly. It’s disheartening to see that, despite our consistent hard work and commitment, there seems to be a shift in focus away from supporting small, individual drivers. The introduction of vans and the pullback of orders leave many of us without the opportunities we depend on to make ends meet. I urge you to consider the impact these changes are having on the loyal drivers who ensure deliveries are completed on time and uphold Amazon’s reputation for reliability. Please respect the role we play in maintaining this service, and find a way to support us as you introduce new systems. A balance that values both individual drivers and new logistical strategies would go a long way in keeping this platform fair and accessible for all. I started an import and distribution business and needed flexibility for earning while we get up and going. Flex has given me so much more. I love it. I’ve never been able to save money before starting this lil gig in April. Only bad thing is I wished it refreshed automatically so all I have to worry about it is selecting and scheduling It’s better than any other delivery service I love it. I do Amazon flex as a side job it helps me pay some bills. I’ve tried other driving jobs but Amazon flex is my favorite since it’s a lot easier to just deliver the packages & be done for the day. Amazon added the request option which lets me pick up my routes 5 days early (for level 3 drivers or 3 days early for level 2 drivers, I’m unsure how early level 4 drivers can get a route) and have an hour to choose my routes which I really like & is the best feature they’ve ever added in my opinion. The pay is pretty decent too & I always finish my routes a couple hours early. Great side job I do Amazon flex as a side job it helps me pay some bills.
