I’ve had this device for almost 10 years. Works decently. However, why do I have to go into the app itself to turn off notifications? Why can I not just tell “Alexa, turn off notifications.” ???? I can’t express how irritating it is when the notifications sound goes off and the yellow light flashes!!! This is an HUGE problem when I am putting my 2 year old to sleep!!!! Once he hears the sound it is difficult to get him back to sleep 🤬 PLEASE CHANGE THIS TO VOICE ACTIVATE!!!! Please. Turn off notifications by voice command!!!! PLEASE! Every time there’s a new update she stops saying “good morning Gi”. I love when she says good morning, afternoon, and evening and my name. Especially since I can get her to pronounce my name right. Can you please fix this so it stays? I can’t find a manual way to keep her saying it. The updates always mess it up. I tried Alexa+ for 1/2 day & disabled it. I didn’t like the voice. I couldn’t change it. It kept reverting to the annoying teenager. She couldn’t speak German. And she never said Good morning G”. I’m back to the regular Alexa.
