Tree of Savior: NEO delivers a full-featured mobile MMORPG experience with deep class systems, automated gameplay options, and social features. Targets players seeking substantial mobile RPG content with both active and AFK gameplay modes.

Detailed Review

Tree of Savior: NEO represents a mobile adaptation of the established MMORPG franchise, positioning itself in the competitive mobile RPG market with a focus on substantial content depth rather than purely idle mechanics. The game transports players to a high-fantasy world where magical trees hold cosmic secrets, offering a narrative-driven experience uncommon in mobile MMOs. The core gameplay revolves around a sophisticated class system where players initially select from multiple archetypes, later unlocking advanced specializations through progression. Unlike many mobile RPGs, the game incorporates meaningful combat mechanics alongside quality-of-life automation features. The Homestead system provides persistent progression, while Demon Trials offer challenging group content reminiscent of traditional MMO raids. Character customization, while initially limited to class selection, expands significantly upon reaching the first major hub city where players can acquire hairstyles and additional appearance options. User interface design demonstrates thoughtful consideration for mobile play, avoiding the common pitfall of screen clutter from excessive micro-transaction prompts. The lock screen feature enables genuine AFK gameplay without requiring constant attention, while full automation handles routine questing and combat. Performance optimization appears solid based on user reports, with smooth operation on mid-range Android devices during both intensive combat scenarios and exploration sequences. User feedback trends consistently highlight appreciation for the game's departure from typical mobile RPG conventions. JustNightcore (2025-06-25) noted the game maintained engagement better than expected, specifically praising the Homestead and automation systems. Dustin Richards (2025-07-02) compared the Demon Trials favorably to Final Fantasy XIV's raid content, though expressed concerns about the dye system's accessibility. Multiple reviewers including Kat Harvey (2025-07-05) praised the artistic direction and narrative depth while noting limitations in character creation diversity, particularly regarding skin tone options. The application demonstrates notable strengths in content depth and respectful automation implementation, though faces limitations in initial character customization breadth and some progression systems. Ideal for players seeking a substantial mobile MMO experience that balances active engagement with convenient AFK options, particularly those who appreciate class-based progression systems and cooperative endgame content.

When i first saw the game, I thought it would be boring and like every other mobile rpg, but this has kept my attention on full alert when I'm playing it. Homestead, full auto attacking and questing, you're able to lock your screen so you can afk, there's a lot more this is just a few things. Fantastic game, I really enjoy it and I can't get enough as of right now. good job guys, keep up the good work.

Love it, gives me that feel that the original sadly couldn't. might've been cause I joined so late in its life. The demon Trials honestly make me feel like I'm doing raids on Final Fantasy XIV, which I enjoy very much. However I do wish the dye system was a bit easier on players, it's not easy to find an alchemist willing to make you dyes. And wish they were permanent or at least lasted longer.

Genuinely enjoying this one a LOT more than other similar mobile MMOs~ The story is interesting enough, the art is gorgeous, and the gameplay is more than just fights. Customization is also pretty good once you actually unlock it all. Though my biggest complaint is the lack of skin tone variety. There is one skin tone in the entire game, PCs and NPCs. If only they changed that, this would be the perfect game~

This game is fun so far. The storybook art style is fantastic, the story is interesting, music is nice. The voice acting isn't awful but some of the characters are not my cup of tea. It's almost like a full mmo in a mobile format.
