TomTom AmiGO: GPS Navigation

Better than Google maps on roundabouts. Tomtom have a very good feature in a country like Britain where roundabouts play a big part whilst driving and navigation. Tomtom mention at least twice (sometimes 3) on which exit to take while there is a roundabout ahead. They repeat it more than once, and especially when you are at the roundabout making sure you don't take the wrong exit. This is a great feature and please don't change it 👍👍

This has options that Google maps does not. You get 4 choices of how your route is created. You can favor travel time, distance driven, saving fuel, or make it more "thrilling." The type of route a driving app gives you is one of the most important things to me! That makes it a great alternative to the pre installed maps app.

I've been using the overlay mode for nearly a decade. One of the greatest apps when it comes to camera alerts. Please don't remove it. I use it with Google maps for the sheer fact that Google maps can provide accurate traffic conditions. Thank you in advance.

Finally I've found the best driving app. This is excellent. The voice used for guidance is calm and clear. The highlight of this app is its excellent speed camera warnings - along with a reminder of the speed limit. The UI is clear and simple as is the map display. That all is is bundled into a free app is amazing. At last I can move away from my trusty (but old) TomTom Go hardware . Well done and keep up the good work devs 🙂

I enjoy how smooth the animation of the moving arrow is. I also like the road and marking design. I also appreciate the fact that you can pick the shortest distance route. So far however it doesn't seem I can set a route without using my current location as the starting point and they need to work on the UI when in split screen mode 50/50 some UI elements are covering important data. I recommend it especially if you need to find different routes like the shortest distance.
