The Guardian: Breaking News

Works really well. I no longer buy a paper newspaper (but I do pay a monthly subscription so that the Guardian can continue with its excellent journalism) but you don't have to do that to enjoy this fine newspaper via this excellent app!

July25: Getting better all the time but I would most love to see a view by created date, so that I didn't have to scroll through so many older items pls. June25: THANK YOU for listening-now much improved. I use the Following feature a lot but this has stopped working when in the Latest view, which is my favourite way to browse. The fonts used now when scrolling the Home screen have made reading slower. The sub articles, shown in paler font, are not distinguishable from the rest of the headline.

Great app although the new Puzzles tab doesn't work offline and the download often has errors and then restarts from the very beginning every time instead of re-attempting the sections it missed. I think the constant attempts cause a lot of battery drain.
