Shuriken Cut offers intuitive physics-based combat where players drag to throw ninja stars at enemies. The game provides casual entertainment with simple mechanics suitable for short gaming sessions.

Detailed Review

Shuriken Cut by KAYAC Inc. presents a minimalist physics-based combat experience where players eliminate enemies through precise shuriken throws. The game occupies a niche in the casual mobile gaming market, offering straightforward mechanics without complex progression systems or elaborate storytelling. The core gameplay involves dragging across the screen to determine shuriken trajectory and cutting angle. The physics engine accurately translates drag vectors into projectile motion, requiring players to calculate angles and force for successful eliminations. Environmental interactions include cutting ropes, triggering traps, and manipulating objects to create chain reactions, though these elements remain relatively basic compared to more sophisticated physics games. User interface design maintains extreme minimalism with no traditional menu systems or level selection options. The game launches directly into gameplay, which some users find streamlined while others consider lacking in navigation features. Real-world usage patterns indicate most sessions last 2-5 minutes, making it suitable for filling short breaks rather than extended gameplay periods. The visual presentation uses simple color-shifted backgrounds and basic character models that prioritize functionality over graphical fidelity. User feedback reveals consistent appreciation for the core mechanic's satisfaction, with reviewer Tacojim35 (2025-06-07) noting enjoyment during boredom periods. Multiple reviewers including benson ricketts (2025-06-19) initially questioned the game's legitimacy due to its simplistic presentation before recognizing its polished mechanics. Criticisms focus on repetitive content, with Anon (2025-08-31) observing approximately 80 repeating levels and requesting better menu systems. Kaina (2025-06-15) reported apparent background color changes that may indicate minor visual bugs. The game's primary strength lies in its immediately satisfying core mechanic and minimal time investment requirements. Limitations include content repetition and lack of progression depth that may reduce long-term engagement. Ideal use cases involve brief entertainment during commutes or waiting periods rather than dedicated gaming sessions. The advertisement implementation receives mixed feedback, with some users recommending airplane mode to avoid interruptions.

Good for being bored,(which is me alot) the ads are not that bad, just turn on airplane mode. Wish there were more levels, like a level where the enemy is in a building and you need to cut the supports to make him fall, etc. Very enjoyable, and hope to see more from the creator! :):):)

at first the game seemed a little weird so I thought it was some kind of malware, but after a while of playing ive realized its just made better. good for playing when you're bored and the ads surprisingly aren't that bad. I also realized that if you cut one of their legs off there's a chance theyll start dancing around like a ballerina😭

very fun downloaded off an ad because i was curious and was well surprised with what it had to offer past the first cycle of the levels. the unlocks are fun aswell. could use a bit more of a menu, such as a level select and restart button. it has the same set of levels that repeat about 80 or so levels. would be cool to be able to make levels and just mess around with the physics engine thrown into this.

Did... did this thing just update? I think it's still being updated. this is awesome! Edit: Another new update, this is as pleasant surprise. Love the new look and lighting, great job there. Uhhhhhhh, did you mean to leave the old lighting levels in? Odd choice, but it doesn't lower my rating at all. I'm genuinely curious.
