Shark Universe offers an immersive underwater predator simulation where players control evolving sharks across oceanic environments. The game combines progression mechanics with exploration, targeting mobile gamers seeking casual aquatic adventures.

Detailed Review

Shark Universe by Supercent, Inc. presents a mobile gaming experience centered on marine predation and progression, positioning itself within the popular animal simulation genre. The Android application enables users to inhabit various shark species, navigating through visually distinct aquatic zones from coastal shallows to deep-sea environments while hunting marine life to advance through level-based gameplay. The core gameplay revolves around predator-prey mechanics where users control sharks using touch-based movement systems, consuming fish and other sea creatures to gain size and strength. Progression unlocks additional shark species with unique attributes, while environmental hazards and larger predators create dynamic challenges. The game incorporates quest systems through non-player characters like the 'timid crab' that provides objectives, though this feature appears problematic based on user reports. User interface design employs intuitive touch controls with clear progression indicators and upgrade menus. Real-world usage patterns show sessions typically lasting 5-15 minutes, suitable for casual play. The visual presentation features gradient water effects and detailed marine creature models, though some depth perception issues in darker environments have been noted by players navigating complex underwater terrain. User feedback analysis reveals consistent praise for progression systems and shark variety, with reviewer Daniel Krueger (2025-02-15) requesting 'more sharks to unlock' and Corbin Calvert (2024-07-29) suggesting mutation evolution options. However, multiple users including Lady Bundy (2025-07-27) and maryann love (2025-07-11) report game-breaking bugs with quest NPC interactions, while Lady Loki (2025-06-23) documents progress resets following updates that erased legendary shark collections. The application demonstrates strengths in engaging progression mechanics and visual diversity, though technical reliability issues and occasional progression blockers present significant limitations. Ideal for players seeking casual aquatic simulation, though those pursuing long-term progression may encounter frustration from stability concerns that require developer attention to maintain user retention.

I love the game. However, the timid crab won't show me my directive. There is no exclamation point above it. It's been like that for 6 levels now, and I can't get past it. I don't know what to do. I looked at the walk-through, and it's still not working for me. I could use some help, please! thank you!

Just started playing this game last night. And I am already on level 17. But I would like to see even more sharks to unlock. Like a hydra shark that has 6 heads, but as a boss. Whom in which you must kill in order to have it as a playable shark. And make the level of the Shark go up to 100. And even more upgrades to enhance your sharks even more.

I love this game but I wish there was a lot more grades and evolutions but I also want there to be a mutation evolution where you can evolve up to a different body depending on your choice of upgrade like if you want to deal more damage, you get a more bulky snout and a bigger bulky body but if you want to be faster, than you get a more streamlined body with larger fins and tail. Can you do that plz?

Great game. I just wish there was more to it. Finished all collections and obtained all sharks in just two weeks. Probably could've done it in less than a week of I don't have a job. 🤣

I really enjoyed the game. I actually ended up grinding to max everything lol but i really hope there is alot more to come in the furture for this game as it really feels like a mobile version of Maneater and i love it. I hope for more upgrade and evolution and potential mutations more depths ands areas to venture too.
