Proton Mail: Encrypted Email

The app takes forever to load. And frequently it doesn't send the entire message. I will type the message, click send, and only the first few characters make it through. Then I get some error that it failed to save the draft. This is ridiculous! 7/2025 update - they have made significant improvements and it is really good now!

I am enjoying using Proton Mail, although I have 2 issues: 1: I found it needs a quick start guide since I am not very computer savvy 🤷 2: I had to purchase the upgrade through Google which is one of the reasons I am switching 🤨. I prefer almost any other way to pay. Other than those 2 niggles it is all working up to my expectations, thanks!

Really love proton mail for a various of reasons. It looks really good as in customization and looks rich in colors. I love how secure and safe this app is and love the way proton wants to make you as secure as possible with getting rid of trackers and ads and two password mode and ai driven security. I bought proton duo and I have no regrets at all. Also, I would like if proton made their own browser (similar to mullvad) since I know they would excell at making it look amazing.

if only every platform had the same goals and motivations. The user is the customer, not companies buying ad space. User's best interests are what's important.

I have been using Proton Mail for several years now and it has come a long way. It is a great service and a great email client. Does what I need it to do and more.
