Detailed Review

PokeRaid represents a specialized solution for Pokémon GO players seeking to participate in remote raids across global locations. Developed by Pyde Technologies LTD, the platform has facilitated over one million remote raids since its inception, positioning itself as a dedicated tool for coordinating group battles that would otherwise require physical proximity. The app addresses a specific niche within the Pokémon GO ecosystem where high-level raids demand coordinated group efforts that can be challenging to organize through conventional means. The core functionality revolves around two primary operations: hosting and joining remote raids. Hosts can create raid rooms by uploading screenshots of available raids, while joiners can filter available raids by Pokémon species, raid tier, or host rating. The platform incorporates an integrated rating system that allows participants to evaluate each other's performance and reliability after completed raids. This creates a self-regulating community where consistent hosts and active participants gain reputation scores, though the system requires manual screenshot verification that some users find cumbersome according to feedback. User experience centers around a straightforward interface that prioritizes rapid raid matching. The design emphasizes functionality over aesthetics, with clear raid listings, countdown timers, and chat functionality for coordination. Real-world usage patterns show peak activity during raid hours across different time zones, with users reporting successful coordination for high-difficulty raids like Gigantamax Cinderace that require 20+ trainers. The platform demonstrates particular effectiveness for spontaneous raid coordination, though some users note occasional inconsistencies with host follow-through on invitations. User feedback trends consistently highlight the app's value for rural and suburban players who lack local raid communities. Nick Bontrager (June 9, 2025) noted the app enabled multiple captures of otherwise inaccessible Pokémon, while Elvin Ariceaga (June 5, 2025) emphasized its utility for players without local raid groups. Several reviews mention the subscription model costing approximately $10 monthly for full access, though free tier limitations were not extensively detailed in available feedback. Kherryngton Jeffries (June 2, 2025) specifically praised the intuitive UI while noting the necessity of having remote raid passes prepared. The platform demonstrates significant strengths in solving coordination problems for high-level Pokémon GO content, particularly for geographically isolated players. Limitations include dependency on host reliability, requirement for in-game remote raid passes, and reported occasional login issues. The service appears most valuable for dedicated Pokémon GO players seeking specific legendary or mega Pokémon, rural players without local communities, and trainers looking to maximize raid participation during limited-time events. The subscription model may represent a barrier for casual users, though the volume of completed raids suggests committed players find value in the service.

Costs 10 bucks a month to be able to join the groups, but I got a bunch of pokemon I'd never get without this app. Gigantamax Cinderace takes like 20+ trainers to beat, and that's impossible to organize organically. But with this app,I've been able to not only get it once, but multiple times! Also, I was able to get pokemon like Zacian and Zamazenta that are very rare and only spawn up in specific areas that are very far from me location-wise. I absolutely love this app! 10/10 highly recommend!

This app is a must-have tool for any rural or suburban player like myself. I don't have to worry about taking on raids and max battles all alone. I can simply host and get help from other trainers whenever I need. I can also join other players remotely from the comfort of my own home. The transition between this app and Pokémon Go is great, too! I can also keep the friends I make to send/receive gifts every day for even more rewards. I really can't recommend this app enough!!

I can't recommend this app enough. It has helped me both host and join lots of raids I couldn't possibly have in the past. It's perfect for everyone, namely those who can't (or don't wanna) go out that often as well as you can just filter whichever Pokemon you're interested in and hope for the best.

Amazing!! it's way better and easier to find players compared to the other raid apps. It doesn't matter if it's hosting or joining it's always so easy to find people to raid with. The only issues I've had are logging in and having to take Many screenshots, but aside from those it's great!
