This app addresses a common pain point for home cooks by centralizing recipe collection and meal planning in one interface. Users can import recipes from social media, adjust serving sizes, and generate shopping lists directly within the platform. Its intuitive design makes it suitable for both casual cooks and those managing weekly family meals.

Detailed Review

Stashcook's Meal Planner & Recipe Keeper positions itself as a practical solution for organizing digital recipes and streamlining meal preparation. Unlike basic note-taking apps, it integrates several kitchen management tools into a single environment, catering to users who frequently source recipes from platforms like TikTok, Instagram, or websites. The app's focus on usability and feature depth has helped it stand out in a crowded category of food and drink applications. Core functionality includes the ability to capture recipes from various sources—whether through direct URL imports, screenshots, or manual entry. Once saved, recipes can be categorized into folders such as desserts, sides, or mains, and serving sizes can be adjusted with automatic ingredient recalculations. The meal planning module allows users to drag and drop recipes into a weekly calendar, while the shopping list feature consolidates ingredients from selected meals, reducing duplicate entries and oversights during grocery runs. These elements work together to minimize the friction between discovering a recipe and executing it. In real-world use, the app demonstrates strong performance in scenarios like family dinner planning or managing a personal recipe collection. For instance, a user preparing for a week of meals can quickly populate their plan, tweak portions for different household sizes, and export a unified shopping list to share with others. The interface is designed for clarity, with minimal taps required to access key functions, though occasional lag has been noted when handling large libraries of imported content. Offline access to saved recipes adds convenience for kitchen use without reliable internet connectivity. User feedback consistently highlights satisfaction with the recipe import and organization capabilities. Reviews indicate that features like serving size adjustments and one-tap access to original recipe sources are frequently praised. One user noted, 'I can finally keep and save, but most of all FIND a recipe I like,' emphasizing the app's effectiveness in reducing digital clutter. However, some international users have pointed out the lack of unit conversion to metric measurements, which can complicate following recipes that use cup-based measurements. Overall, Stashcook delivers a robust set of tools for recipe management and meal planning, with particular strength in social media integration and list generation. While the absence of unit customization may deter some global users, the app's thoughtful design and reliable performance make it a worthwhile investment for those seeking to organize their cooking workflow. The lifetime subscription option appears to offer good value for committed users, based on prevailing review sentiment.

I have tried numerous recipe apps and this one is by far the absolute best!! I could not be happier. Feature Request: This app would be even better if you could add a feature under the "Pantry" which would allow us to scan in items in our pantry (by that little code thingy). You could build a database which the users could populate for you by adding items not found with their names, sizes, that code thingy, etc. I cannot count the times when I have ordered something I already have. :)

I love this app. Just upgraded to the lifetime subscription. so easy to bring in recipes from social media platforms, screenshot etc. I love that you can easily adjust the serving size and easily go back to the original website. my family uses the shopping feature to centralize our weekly needs. its also super easy to plan out the week and shopping right in the app! you won't regret buying this!

This is the most useful app I have ever down loaded. Previously I would see recipes on TikTok, YouTube, etc and always want to make the dish only to not be able to find the video again. This app makes it so easy. It gives me the recipe and ingrediants needed. I can save the recipe under side dish, dessert, pasta and more. I love this app and paid for the premium. I can even have the app prepare a shopping list for the dishes I want to make. l love this app!!!

OMG I love this! I normally download a trial, don't like it and delete. But this is my new favourite, I think This will be used regularly. I can finally keep and save, but most of all FIND a recipe I like. Well done!!

Loving it so far. The only thing I miss is the option to change the units to the international system. The cups and spoons are hard to work with if you're not used to.
