Google Voice: Unified Communication

Ultimate free app for Voice, Text, call forwarding, management & free voice 2 text translation. I couldn't ask for more to be free! I have told everyone in family about it. A few regret not signing up! There was a point 8n my life the only way I could talk to my mom was this app. My phone number would change every couple months cause I was unstable. This allowed me to give her a # she could always reach me! Plus Android app or Browser Based option! The only thing missing is Video future $addon?

I'm a big fan of google voice. I use it for as a local number on my cell phone to text and make calls seamlessly. Sometimes the call is a little choppy but usually it's a clear call.

I have been using this app since 2013 (12yrs), it is safe to say that google Voice has been my saving grace over and over again. Also, i haven't had a cell phone bill since 2013, saving me probably in the ballpark of $22,000.00 or more over the years. i just want to say...Google...YOURE THE BEST!!!! - Cpl. Mike Akers, USMC

Using the app, I can no longer hear callers during calls or hear my voicemail messages from my Android Version 12 phone speaker. I can only hear when using a headset. My phone speaker works for all other apps except Google Voice now. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app as well as restarting my phone. Nothing seems to resolve the issue. What is the fix for this problem?
