Glory Fit serves as the dedicated companion application for the Q18 smart watch, providing health tracking, notification management, and device synchronization capabilities for Android users seeking basic wearable functionality.

Detailed Review

Glory Fit represents Smart Wear's dedicated Android application for synchronizing and managing the Q18 smart watch. The application positions itself as an essential bridge between the wearable device and smartphone, offering core functionality for health monitoring and notification management within the budget smartwatch segment. The app's market position appears targeted toward cost-conscious consumers seeking basic smartwatch features without premium ecosystem integration. The application's core functionality centers around health and activity tracking, including step counting, sleep monitoring, heart rate measurement, and specialized features like blood glucose testing. Beyond fitness tracking, Glory Fit provides comprehensive notification management, enabling SMS reminders, call alerts, and app message forwarding to the connected watch. The application requires accessibility services to facilitate message pushing functionality, which allows users to receive and respond to notifications directly from their wrist. Integration with Google Fit provides additional value for users invested in broader health ecosystems. User experience varies significantly based on device compatibility and software updates. The interface maintains a functional but occasionally problematic layout, as evidenced by recent updates that placed critical buttons behind system navigation elements on certain devices like the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Real-world usage patterns suggest the app performs adequately for basic tracking and notification purposes, though users report needing to frequently troubleshoot connection issues through device reboots and setting adjustments. The accessibility service implementation, while necessary for functionality, may concern privacy-conscious users. User feedback indicates mixed experiences with connectivity and interface design. Multiple reviewers, including B McD (September 7, 2025), noted interface problems where recent updates made specific functions like blood glucose testing difficult to access through the mobile app. Conversely, positive reviews from users like Ste F (September 4, 2025) highlight successful synchronization and Google Fit integration when proper configuration steps are followed. Renee J (July 4, 2025) demonstrated common troubleshooting approaches, noting that connection issues often resolve after watch reboots and app reinstallation rather than representing permanent flaws. The application demonstrates clear strengths in basic functionality and ecosystem integration but suffers from inconsistent user experience across devices. Its primary value lies in providing essential smartwatch features at an accessible price point, though users must be prepared for occasional technical troubleshooting. The ideal use case involves users seeking basic health tracking and notification management who don't require advanced smartwatch features or flawless user experience. Limitations in interface consistency and connectivity reliability prevent broader recommendation despite competent core functionality.

Good functionality, sync'd to watch no problem. App is sharing data with Google fit fine too. If you have issues despite watch / phone reboots I suggest going through the menus in the app and watch thoroughly to ensure theres not a setting you needed to toggle. E.g. the third party access settings in "Me" if you want it to speak to other apps.

I had the same problem as many others. The app wouldn't let me connect. But then it occurred to me, instead of blaming the app, look into the problem being the watch. Just like our phones sometimes need to be rebooted, so does the watch. I turned off the watch then back on and reinstalled the app. Now it works like a charm.

My only complaint is that I have to shake my wrist rather vigorously to tell the time... and when all is said and done, despite that I do utilize many aspects of the smart watch's capabilities, the fact is I use my watch to just primarily tell time about 99% of the time! I wish there was a way to simply look at it without having to do anything to read the time!
