GlobalComix: Comic Book Reader

Very good comic reading app and even better with the advent of DC comic's arrival on the platform. You can either read verticals or a panel-to-panel mode which has different points of the comics pages zoomed in on as you read, so I like the choice. Only crits are that the indie scene is quite small and under promoted and I wish that the comics recommended didn't instantly teleport you to the comic and I could read the blurb first. Then I have to interact with the wacky reading/hiatus/dropped sys

Solid streaming comics service. Superb scan quality & it's great that they've been steadily introducing other alternatives than traditional scroll, expanding/minimizing panels w/ more guided view, stacked, & verticals. As big of a fan as I am of Comixology Unlimited, GlobalComix features a lot of titles not available there. Also love that it bookmarks between devices flawlessly & that some money does go towards the creators & publishers. Highly recommended for anyone who loves reading comics.

Updating my old review. This app is so so good. They have all of the biggest western publishers on board except for Marvel. There are still some smaller publishers missing, but let's hope many of them will join this platform. There are tons of comics being published constantly by publishers and Independent creators so you cannot run out of stuff to read. The team behind the app also support independent creators a lot and feature them in the front page. Fantastic service!

This is by far the best comic book subscription service. It has all the big indie publishers like Image Darkhorse Boom studios Dynamite but also thousands of truly independent creations some quite good and shockingly a limited but good selection of DC titles. I got a full year of the premium for 60 bucks. I love it!

The best digital comic subscription at the moment. Fills the void Amazon left when they eviscerated comixology. For a subscription price that's negligible compared to the price of comics, you can read so very much.
