EVgo: EV Charging

The app is user friendly with a straightforward interface. Setting up the account is easy as is putting in a payment option. Furthermore the terminals themselves are easy to spot and contain an informative touch screen that does a good job of breaking down the most basic elements of EV charging. The stations have connectors for most Asian and North American makes as well as Tesla chargers. My only issue was that at one station only 1/6 chargers functioned but that's on me not checking ahead.

Eey they're actually improving things! EVgo is far from perfect but the reliability and general availability of their chargers is now much better than the competition. There's typically a wide variety of chargers at every new location they build so odds are there will be a fast charger waiting for you that works with your car, much better than a few years back.

The ONLY rental option I had was a full electric. I love electric vehicles, but my area is not EV equipped. So I reached out to a friend who recommended EVGo. It legitimately removed all of the stress I had over charging stations. Easy, straightforward. I dig it. Only adjustment I would request is more frequent automatic refreshes for station statuses, as I've pulled up at "available" stations that are actually taken. Once I realized the refresh nuances, I started circumventing this issue.

I like this location because they have always been in working condition. Although a bit crowded, people are friendly and I just got offered a charging station by a woman who was done. I wish there were more stations that offered the CHADeMO, but glad we some available.

good charging station, it works fairly well. I just wish the other chargers at this station worked, but unfortunately, this is the only fast charger working at the North Shore Mall Peabody.
