This app takes the familiar single-player horror formula of the original Granny Chapter 1 and makes it a cooperative social experience. Designed to help players finally escape by teaming up with friends, it supports up to six players in a single haunted house. Perfect for fans of the original who found its challenges too daunting alone.

Detailed Review

Cursed House Multiplayer (GMM) positions itself as a direct answer to a long-standing community request: a functional multiplayer version of the popular horror escape game, Granny. Developed by SUSSY BAKA DEV, the app replicates the core layout, items, and mechanics of Granny Chapter 1 but introduces the crucial ability to play with others online. This shift from solitary terror to shared strategy fundamentally alters the game's dynamic, allowing for coordinated item hunts and distraction tactics against the patrolling antagonist. The core functionality revolves around its networked multiplayer, which is reportedly stable with minimal lag or crashes according to many users. Players must explore a detailed replica of the infamous house, collecting tools like keys, hammers, and gears to unlock various escape routes while avoiding Granny. The app's value lies in this social execution; tasks can be divided, and communication—though external—adds a layer of planning and camaraderie not found in the original. However, the interface retains the original's sometimes clunky interaction model, where rooms transition quickly and items can be misclicked. In real-world usage, the app serves both as a party game for friends seeking a shared scare and a practical tool for players who found the original game too difficult. The cooperative element reduces the pure tension, often replacing it with moments of chaotic humor when plans go awry. This makes it particularly appealing for younger players or groups looking for a lightweight horror experience rather than a deeply immersive one. The ability to play with up to six people significantly extends its replayability for social circles. User feedback trends heavily positive, primarily praising the fulfilled promise of multiplayer. Reviews indicate specific appreciation for the stable netcode and the faithful recreation of the Granny environment. Several reviews, however, point to persistent bugs that impact gameplay: items can become unpickable after being dropped, gear props can behave erratically causing noise, and item duplication glitches occasionally occur. There is also a noted desire for more content variety, with requests for permanent holiday-themed events and expanded customization like character skins to maintain long-term interest. Overall, Cursed House Multiplayer (GMM) is a solid fan-made project that successfully delivers on its core premise. Its strengths in providing a stable, social horror experience are clear, but it is somewhat hampered by inherited interface quirks and a few persistent technical issues. The app excels as a social supplement to the original game rather than a polished, standalone title, making it a compelling download for its specific audience despite its rough edges.

Even tho its a horror game, i had funny moments with my friend and i love the game and definitely five stars, although im also putting a bug report to the gears, during multiplayer, the gear sometimes jumps around making a lot of noise which sometimes get granny stuck to the noises and another bug is if 2 player picked up the same item it would dup or maybe it can spawn? idrk thats all lol
