The Culver's app enables advance ordering for carryout and curbside pickup, featuring real-time menu browsing and flavor scheduling. Designed for customers seeking convenience, though technical issues impact reliability.

Detailed Review

The Culver's mobile application serves as a digital ordering platform for the restaurant chain, allowing customers to browse menus, schedule pickups, and access daily frozen custard flavors. Positioned as a convenience tool for time-conscious diners, the app aims to streamline the ordering process while maintaining the brand's emphasis on fresh ingredients. The core functionality centers on three primary features: order-ahead capability for both in-restaurant carryout and CurdSide car delivery, full menu access with ingredient transparency, and a flavor calendar showing daily frozen custard rotations. Users can select precise pickup times, with the promise that orders are prepared fresh for the chosen arrival window. The menu section highlights Culver's quality standards including never-frozen beef and farm-fresh dairy products. User experience varies significantly based on device compatibility and location. The interface follows standard fast-food app conventions with category-based navigation and customizable ordering. However, real-world usage reveals inconsistent performance across different Android devices and locations. Some users report seamless ordering while others encounter persistent technical barriers that undermine the convenience premise. User feedback demonstrates polarized experiences, as evidenced by reviews from March and May 2025. Tom S's repeated 5-star reviews on March 8th praise food quality and service while questioning the absence of dine-in integration with table placards. Conversely, Devin LeBeau's April 1st update documents persistent crashing issues after adding items to cart and problematic pickup time defaults, noting that multiple reinstallations failed to resolve these technical limitations. The app delivers genuine value when functioning properly, particularly for customers seeking to minimize wait times through scheduled pickups. However, technical reliability issues and the absence of dine-in ordering functionality represent significant limitations. The ideal use case involves customers familiar with their local Culver's location who can troubleshoot potential technical issues and primarily utilize carryout or curbside services.

Great but am I missing something? I haven't had 1 bad thing to eat at Culver's and the service is top tier. What I don't understand is why doesn't the app also have a dine in option that works with the table placards or the same thing on the menu as the location you are visiting? You can order curbside and pick up but have to use the website or counter for dine in and no waffle cone in app. Kinda wishing they had a rewards program too because without it the app is kind of pointless.

I recently discovered Culver's and have been addicted to their mixers ever since. So far, everything that I have ordered has been great. The staff are all AWESOME. They always treat their customers with respect and are so kind and always wear a smile. This is by far one of my favorite places to eat. I have not been to Dairy Queen, nor will I ever go to Dairy Queen ever again. Culver's blows Dairy Queen out of the water!!!
