Much better organized than My Fitness Pal, Example: MyNetDiary separates out staples from other foods, very handy for recipe entry. There are lots of features that help follow specific doctor's orders. I would love a feature that would be a way to track refined carbs, a common medical guideline that does not align neatly with net carbs or added sugars. If I could eliminate whole grains, fruit, etc. from the carb count it would be perfect!
I really like using this app, it's good for free, but I think the paid version is worth it for what I wanted it for. What and how you can track, the food options and the scan function amongst many other features all make this app fantastic. There is a lot I don't know and haven't explored on the app yet. I contacted the team in regards to measuring fibre intake and the response from Dmitry was really polite, professional and friendly, but most of all informative and helpful.
Overall a great app for tracking, the one thing I don't like is that it's quite limited when it comes to food options so I have to add most things I eat personally, meaning it doesn't have much of a difference in cuisines so most things I cook are not there, and also I have a question for the developers, why when I enter exercises for the day it gives me only half of the burned calories to be able to eat before being over the daily calorie intake?
Great app. Using the Android version. Can tracks my proteins, carbs, fats, water intake, steps, etc.. will let you scan meals to get a breakdown and product barcodes. Includes intermittent fasting timer. Have started losing weight in just a week. built-in advice, diets, and tutorials. 🙂👍👍👍
I'm only using the free app. it's great for tracking of my meals & exercise . Easy to use . highly recommended 👌
