Okay, so I needed something brain-dead simple for my commute, and Talking Tom Hero Dash: Ladybug actually fits the bill. It's not going to win any awards for groundbreaking gameplay, but sometimes you just need to switch off. The controls are easy enough that even *I* didn't need a tutorial, and there's something statistically satisfying about collecting all the little shiny bits. Plus, the graphics are surprisingly decent; the graphs are actually readable, unlike some other games I've seen. I mean, I'm not saying it's going to replace my data analysis tools, but for a free game, it's a solid time-waster. No complicated spreadsheets here, just pure, unadulterated running and collecting. And thatβs exactly what I needed after staring at Python code all day. I'm not saying it's the most intellectually stimulating experience, but sometimes you just need a break from Excel hell, you know?
