Okay, so, I've been on this whole kick of quantifying my phone usage, and having a clean, personalized home screen is key to minimizing distractions. iThemes – yeah, it's called iThemes - lets you create custom widgets and icons without having to sell your soul to Apple's developer ecosystem. The analytics features are surprisingly robust, and the dashboard actually makes sense, unlike some of the other monstrosities I've seen. Plus, it lets you export to CSV in under 10 seconds, which is statistically significant in my book. The whole experience feels like Tableau but for normal humans. I haven't dug too deep into the API capabilities yet, but I'm betting there's some cool data integration potential there. Finally, goodbye to Excel hell for my home screen customization needs.
